After experiencing a high-profile break-up, Ko Yu Jin of rock group Flower returns to his main passion, releasing his third album Equi-vocal in which the artist collaborates with renowned producer Park Geun Tae. Despite delaying the album's original release date, Ko spent nearly seven months recording the album while producer Park honed his musical craftsmanship to perfection. The result is a fresh new genre called trance-rock. Blending in many distinctive sounds borrowed from many musical genres into one single track, Park's daring musical experiment gives birth to Hi-Five (Track 3), the album's principal song. Opening with a psychedelic intro, the song continues with electronica and rock infused sounds accompanied by dynamic instrumental arrangement. Handling all the vocals, including main vocal, narration and chorus with his mellow but powerful voice, Ko rightfully claims the song as his own. Enchanting listeners with sounds that mysteriously provoke images from a sci-fi movie, Equi-vocal offers an experience like no other.
